What a wonderful weekend to kick off our summer! Sydney and I just returned from four fabulous days spent at our friend Christina and Ryan's beautiful vacation home in Suncadia. Poor Paul had to work this weekend, so we made the trek on our own and joined two other Dunbar families to make it a party!
What a fabulous home Christina and Ryan have! They are incredible hosts and we so enjoyed their hospitality, amazing meals, fireside chats, buckets of wine and fun times with the kids.
Syd did so well on the 3.5 hour drive there. We stopped to shop at the outlets and Trader Joe's and broke the trip up with several stops to make it easier for her. Seemed to work!
The kids absolutely loved biking around the cul-de-sac there, Sydney could not get enough of her bike!
And then there was the park and playground....always a hit!
Each family took turns doing a meal while we were there, we had some of the most delicious food! I was up for breakfast this morning and decided to do a little theme breakfast with Canada Day plates and flags to deck out the table!
We spent a few hours on Sunday in the gorgeous sunshine swimming in the pool with the kids. It was such fun! Sydney was literally dive bombing into the pool time after time for well over an hour! She was having the time of her life!
On Sunday night we had a lovely dinner at the lodge at Suncadia complete with cocktail hour, martinis all around!
It was so lovely there and we stopped to check out the winery on site on the way home.
When we got home we dunked all of the kids into the bath together, it was super cute!
What an amazing, magical place and special time away together it was!
