Today we kicked off December in fine fashion by attending our first Christmas party of the season! We got together with the group of Dunbar families at Westside Family Place for a potluck and play time so that everyone had the chance to see each other before the craziness of the holidays is in full swing!
The kids had such great fun playing with the toys and doing crafts, playdough, painting and playing with the indoor sand table and Paul and I had a great time visiting with the Moms and Dads.
My dear friend Sally's husband Allan, made an emergency run home to raid their supply of Bailey's Irish Cream so that we could all have a little treat in our coffee this morning. So, so yummy!
We enjoyed such amazing food and a great visit together!
Sydney came home with a few gifts from some of her friends!
Ollie gave her the cutest knit purple hat and snowman cookie from Butter bakery:
Weston totally spoiled her with a bag full of treats, a battery powered Rosie for her train set, Hello Kitty stickers, gloves and stuffy and cupcake pajamas!
Jack got Sydney the cutest blouse and some stickers and a candy cane.
It was so fun to watch Sydney open the gifts, she was so excited to see all of the wonderful things that her friends gave her!
I do love the month of December with all of it's festivities. It was a great way to kick it off today!
