Preschool Birthday Celebration
Today at preschool we had mini cupcakes in celebration of Sydney's birthday. Sydney's teachers, Rania and Helen, went out of their way to make today a special one for Sydney in class.
During snack time they lit a candle on a little plastic cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday to Sydney and watched while she blew out the candle. Then each child ate a cupcake and got a birthday stamp on their hand. I think that Sydney felt very special, she had a very proud look on her face as the cake was sitting in front of her and a little smile that made me think she knew that today was all about her!
This is Sydney's teacher Rania, Sydney really loves her!
The classroom was all decked out today for fall, so beautiful with the flowers, pumpkins and leaves!
I was so pleased to be the volunteer parent in class today so that I could be there with Sydney while she celebrated with her little classmates. It was a very fun day to share with her!
We are looking forward to one final celebration this weekend with her ladybug themed gymnastics party with her little buddies, such fun!!
