Today was another beautiful fall day in Vancouver! We spent the morning running a few errands then Paul and I took Sydney down to the playground at Kits Beach to play in the sun. It was so lovely! Syd had so much fun on the swings and slide and merry-go-round and running and playing in the leaves! It was hard to believe that it was November, felt like a September day with the sun beating down on us and the air crisp and fresh!
This afternoon we headed to Phoenix Gymnastics to celebrate Sydney's friend Alexis' 2nd Birthday. The kids had such a blast playing in the Treehouse Gym there, the coaches did a parachute game with the kids and there were trampolines and tunnels and rings to swing on, Sydney was in heaven! We had a great time visiting with our friends Saskia and Myrtle and Andrea, Aaro and Hattan.
Tracy made an individualized loot bag for each guest with their name on each one and had them out on a table for us to take home at the end of the party along with a giant blue helium balloon which Sydney was most excited about!
Sydney's loot bag was filled with a new Skip Hop owl bowl, some foam bath letters and numbers and some tasty treats. Sydney asked for a bowl of ice cream in her new bowl as soon as we got home and we used the foam toys in the tub tonight too, we wasted no time in enjoying the treats that Tracy sent home with us!
Yet another great party! I am loving this time of year with all of Syd's friends turning two! I could get used to a birthday party or two every weekend, it's been super fun!
