Sydney and I just got back from a wonderful evening spent celebrating my friend Christina's 40th birthday! Christina's Mom and Dad threw her a spectacular garden party at their beautiful home in Ocean Park, it was lovely! The weather held out for the event, it was sunny and beautiful out in the garden and we so enjoyed being outdoors and visiting with friends who were there as well!
Christina's Mom decorated the entire house and garden for the party, it was beautiful! There were fresh flowers and decorations everywhere and everyone brought lovely gifts for her! She is one well loved lady! Her Mom rented forty pink flamingos and had them displayed all over her garden, so fun!
There were tons of kids at the party, Sydney really enjoyed playing with her buddies Ollie and William and meeting some new friends too. Christina hired Korki the clown to come and entertain the kids, she was hysterical and made the most spectacular balloon creations I've ever seen! Sydney was a bit freaked out by the clown at first but quickly warmed up to her when she realized that she was giving balloons away and waited patiently in line with me to get a Hello Kitty twisted balloon animal!
Christina comes from an amazing Italian family and her Mom is such an incredible cook! She put on the most fabulous spread for us, cannelloni, chicken wings and sausage along with amazing salads and side dishes! So good!
We were so thrilled to be able to share Christina's special birthday with her and welcome in a new decade of adventure for her!
