Sunshine

Our sun drenched living room around 1:00pm this afternoon.  Love it!

Masterpieces

Syd and I spent some time painting together this afternoon, we created some fine looking art!

All in a Name

Syd has been trying so desperately to write her name lately.  She was so proud of this drawing she made at school today with her name on it "Syd" .  She's still trying to figure out the directions that the letters should go, but not a bad start for a three year old!

Speaking of Names....

The photo of the day today is "Your Name", here it is, spelled out lovingly with Sydney's blocks!

Afternoon Playtime

Our friends Christina and Jack came over to play this afternoon.  We love hanging out with these guys so much and are so glad that we're neighbors!

Cookies

Christina brought us the most delectable homemade chocolate chip cookies today...yum!

Crafty

We borrowed a craft idea from our friend Amanda, via the Science World website and made a stained glass panel today out of nothing but glue and food colouring.  Once this dries it can stick to a window just like a decal!  Love it and what a fun and easy craft to do with preschoolers!

Heart Crayons

Syd and I finally got around to making our heart crayons this afternoon.  She painstakingly peeled the paper off of dozens of crayons and helped me make these beauties!  Love how they turned out!
